About me:

Hi! My name is Allie Tracy, and I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma. I am majoring in Advertising with a minor in Classical Culture. While pursuing the advertising track at OU, I realized that I wanted to focus on the creative side of the industry.

Growing up, I never really knew what I wanted to be. At first, I considered becoming a doctor, a lawyer, or maybe living on a yacht after my husband mysteriously disappeared. But, thankfully for everyone in those professions, a high school aptitude test revealed that the creative side of advertising would be a fulfilling career for me. Looking back, I realized that creativity had always been the one constant in my life, and since then, I’ve been working to grow and strengthen it.

Recently I was asked what my favorite project I’ve worked on was, and it caught me off guard. I like to think I’m quick on my feet, but I didn’t have an answer ready. So I sat with it and started to reflect.

What I realized is that I don’t have a favorite project, and that’s the point. It’s never been about the final product for me; it’s about the process. I’m drawn to the moments where ideas are still taking shape, when words are being tested, rearranged, and refined. I enjoy digging into the meaning behind language, pairing it with the right visuals, and watching something abstract become intentional and real.

Creating has always been a natural way for me to understand the world. I’m curious by nature, and I’m motivated by the challenge of building something from nothing. Whether I’m writing, conceptualizing, or collaborating, I’m most engaged when I’m exploring possibilities and pushing ideas further.

I care about making work that resonates, even in small ways. If something I create makes a person pause, reconsider, or see something differently, that matters to me. That’s what keeps me invested in the work.

I’m someone who values growth, seeking out new perspectives, new challenges, and opportunities to keep learning. I’m excited by environments where ideas are shared openly and where I can continue to develop alongside others who care deeply about what they do.
